It was a windy night at Titan Stadium where the Gadsden City Titans hosted the Hoover Buc’s. Lots of penalties and mistakes, but hey, that's what a jamboree is for. The starters for both schools played the first half and the first two series of the third quarter. Gadsden City won the first half 3-2. After that, the varsity and junior varsity began to blend their squads and Hoover won that series 6-0. The most exciting play in the first half came when Gadsden City’s star cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick(espn 150) intercepted a Simon Propst pass and returned it 60 yards before being brought down by Hoover’s Maudrecus Humphrey short of the goal line. Dylan Breeding threw a 37-yard pass to Andrew Keenan midway through the third quarter to cap the scoring for the Bucs. This week GamedayRecruits.com will be at Death Valley for a Thursday night game, as the Anniston Bulldogs(AL) takes on power house Alexandria Valley Cubs(AL) in the first game of the regular season.
