Previous: 1. Result: Marcus Lattimore ran for 175 yards and a touchdown and Daniel Cleveland returned an interception 40 yards for a TD in a 38-12 defeat of Pahokee, Fla. The game came six days after Pahokee player Norman Griffith was shot to death. Next: Friday at Spartanburg.

2. Trinity, Euless, Texas (5-0)

Previous: 2. Result: Dontrayevous Robinson and Tevin Williams each ran for two TDs in a 45-3 win at winless Fossil Ridge (Keller). Next: Friday vs. Colleyville Heritage (Colleyville).

3. Gateway, Monroeville, Pa. (6-0)

Previous: 3. Result: RB Brian Williams ran for 309 yards and four TDs on 19 carries in a 42-0 win at Hempfield (Greensburg). Next: Friday at McDowell (Erie).

4. St. Thomas Aquinas, Fort Lauderdale (4-0)

Previous: 4. Result: Giovanni Bernard ran for 210 yards and three TDs, including one of 70 yards, on 10 carries in a 35-7 win at Hollywood Hills (Hollywood). James White had a 54-yard run for a TD for Aquinas. Next: Friday at Cooper City.

5. Armwood, Seffner, Fla. (5-0)

Previous: 5. Result: QB Mywan Jackson threw for 205 yards and five TDs and ran for 110 yards and a TD in a 41-0 defeat of Jefferson (Tampa). It was the third consecutive shutout for the Hawks defense. Next: Friday vs. Tampa Bay Tech (Tampa).

6. Long Beach Poly, Long Beach (4-0)

Previous: 6. Result: RB Daveon Barner ran for 125 yards and two TDs and had a 36-yard reception for a TD in a 32-15 win at Lakewood. Next: Friday vs. St. Bonaventure (Ventura).

7. Carmel, Ind. (7-0)

Previous: 7. Result: QB Morgan Newton, a Kentucky recruit, passed for two TDs and ran for 159 yards and a TD in a 31-17 win at Warren Central (Indianapolis). Next: Friday at Terre Haute North Vigo (Terre Haute).

8. Lowndes County, Valdosta, Ga. (6-0)

Previous: 11. Result: Greg Reid ran for 124 yards and two TDs on 10 carries in a 24-7 win vs. then-No. 19 Northside (Warner Robins). Telvin Jones had four tackles for a loss and an interception for the Vikings, who won their 20th consecutive game and ended Northside's winning streak at 35. Next: Friday at Valdosta.

9. River Hill, Clarksville, Md. (5-0)

Previous: 9. Result: Malek Redd ran back kickoff returns of 65 yards and 55 yards for TDs and RB Mike Campanaro ran for a 5-yard TD and returned an interception 78 yards for another TD in a 50-7 win at Long Reach (Columbia). Next: Friday at Reservoir (Fulton).

Previous: 10. Result: QB Taylor Martinez ran 66 yards for a score on his team's first play from scrimmage and threw three TD passes in a 34-19 defeat of Corona. Next: Friday at Eleanor Roosevelt (Corona).

11. Madison County, Madison, Fla. (3-0)

Previous: 12. Result: Chris Thompson ran back a kickoff for a TD and had a 5-yard TD run in the first half of a 52-15 defeat of East Gadsden (Havana). Next: Friday at Taylor County (Perry).

12. Lakeland, Fla. (5-0)

Previous: 13. Result: Offensive lineman Caleb Pickrell picked up a teammate's fumble and rambled 46 yards for the deciding score in a 27-21 win vs. previously unbeaten Killian (Miami). Javares McRoy also had a 50-yard punt return for a TD for the Dreadnaughts. Next: Friday at Lake Gibson (Lakeland).

13. South Panola, Batesville, Miss. (6-0)

Previous: 14. Result: Nicholas Parker rushed for 180 yards and two TDs in a 21-13 win at Olive Branch before a crowd of more than 12,000. It was South Panola's 81st consecutive win. Next: Friday vs. Columbus.

14. Oscar Smith, Chesapeake, Va. (6-0)

Previous: 15. Result: Tim Smith had a 54-yard punt return for a TD and TD catches of 42 and 30 yards as the Tigers handed Western Branch (Chesapeake) its first loss 48-7. Next: Friday vs. Kings Fork (Suffolk).

15. Skyline, Issaquah, Wash. (5-0)

Previous: 16. Result: RB Joey Evans had three first-quarter TDs in a 35-2 win at Garfield (Seattle). Gino Simone added a 74-yard punt return as Skyline did all of its scoring in the first half. Next: Friday vs. Eastlake (Sammamish).

Previous: 17. Result: Garrett Gilbert passed for 273 yards and six TDs in a 55-20 win at Hutto. Gilbert has 20 TD passes with one interception this season. Next: Friday vs. Lampasas.

Previous: 20. Result: QB Carson Meger threw for 293 yards and three TDs in a 48-31 defeat of previously unbeaten Wylie. Next: Friday at Plano West (Plano).

Previous: 24. Result: QB Terrance Owens threw for two TDs and Mordecai Cargill ran for 99 yards and a TD in a 30-6 defeat of John Marshall (Cleveland). The Tarblooders scored all of their points in the first half. Next: Thursday vs. Collinwood (Cleveland).

20. Elder, Cincinnati (6-1)

Previous: Not ranked. Result: RB Adam Brown ran for 119 yards and two TDs in a 28-14 win at Moeller (Cincinnati). The Panthers' loss was in their second game to No. 4 St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale). The win clinched Elder's first Greater Catholic South title since 2003. 21. Don Bosco Prep, Ramsey, N.J. (3-1)

Previous: 22. Result: QB Brett Knief threw five TD passes, including two to Jimmy Clark and Chris Burrell, in a 49-0 defeat of Teaneck (Ramsey). The Ironmen led 42-0 at the half. Next: Friday vs. Montclair.

22. Tuscaloosa County, Northport, Ala. (6-0)
