Hey my name is Drew Phillips. Im a Junior. I play Varsity football at Boaz High School. I play running back and DB. I have broken the rushing record twice this season. The first time I broke it, was against our big rival Albertville I had 283 yards and two tds. The last time I broke it, was against Southside. They were predicted to win the game. I had 326 yards on the ground on 26 carries with 4 tds. We won the game 35-14. I am averaging 7.8 yards a carry. Through 10 weeks I have 2,008 yards rushing on 237 carries. I am the single season rushing record holder beat the old record but 600 yards, and I also have 18 touchdowns. In the 8 the game of the season  I broke the single-season rushing record for Boaz High School as a Junior. On the first play of the game I scored on a 65 yard td. The next possession I was stopped the  for a three yard loss on the first play. On the next play I went down the right side cut back across the field for my second td of the game for a 63 yard td. I Played only the first quarter with 13 carries for 184 yards and 2 tds. Through the  regular season i have 2,008 yards rushing with 18 td's. I finished my Junior year with 2,196 yards rushing.  I still have my Senior year left so more to come. 

As a sophomore I was invited to Junior day at ALABAMA was the only sophomore there, everyone else was a Junior or Senior

As a sophomore had 1,289 yards rushing on 212 carries and 10 TDs. Made All-County and All Region team..

As a Junior. i finshed with 2,198 yards rushing on 317 carries and 18TDs. I have only played 8 games this year because I had a finger injury my finger tip exploded and had to get six stitches..

Also this year I have every record at Boaz High school to do with rushing. I have the single game rushing record with 326 yards on 26 carries with 4 TDs.. I Also have the single season record with 2,198 on 317 carries..

I also had a 99 yard PUNT RETURN for a TD, against SCOTTSBORO.

Have been ASWA player of the week runner up 3 times this year... Was named ASWA player of the week against Athens.. Rushed 28 times for 220 yards. 1 touchdown from  96 yards... Went 4-6 passing for 93 yards and 2 touchdowns from 27 and 28 yards out... Had 6 tackles.. 1 interception for a touchdown from 46 yards... i was named overall player of the year in my reigon, i was on the gadsden times elite team.. and overall mvp for the gadsden time, i was on the hunstville times elite team, i was on the all state team, and was team overall mvp

I have received letters from ALABAMA, UNA, MISSISSIPPI STATE, PENN QUAKERS, SOUTHERN  MISS, MONTANA STATE, UAB, TROY, LA. TECH, AIR FORCE, NORTH CAROLINA, NORTH CAROLINA STATE, OLE MISS, NEW MEXICO STATE,MICHIGAN,FLORIDA STATE,LOUISVILLE,GEORGIA..

i have recived scholarship offers drom BYU, SMU, WYOMING, SAMFORD, IDAHO, TENNESSEE MARTIN.

First round of the playoffs...

Boaz vs Athens  34-13

i went 4-6 passing for 93 yards and 2 tds... and rushed 21 times for 222 yards and had a 96 yard td run. had 5 tackels and 1 interception for a td from 48 yards..

Boaz vs Harstelle 3-14

Had 221 yards rushing on 29 carries went 4-9 passing with 40 yards....

As a junior i recived Marshall County overall player of the year..

was named team overall player of the year...
