A: We created the free package so that everybody has the opportunity to get exposure and to be a part of GamedayRecruits.com. The difference is you are limited to some features. Plus the ability for your recruiting page to be displayed on premium pages that recruiters visit. So while the free package offers an excellent opportunity to showcase your skills, the paid packages are for individuals who want to go the extra mile for exposure.
A: Absolutely. That's the whole goal...to bring college coaches and recruiters together with high school athletes.
A: Absolutely. While our main focus is on high school athletes we have several recruits at the junior college level.
A: When it comes to recruiting accurate reliable information is the key to everything. With our paid packages we call each recruits high school to verify that all of the information they provide is accurate. If a player states that he runs a 4.5 40 yard dash and his coach says that he runs a 4.7. We'll change the players recruiting page with the correct information. So having said this, all information on the paid packages is reliable and accurate based on the information given to us by the coaches and faculty.
A: At this point we cannot. It takes a lot of time and effort to track down coaches, counselors and faculty. We have to focus on the paid recruits at this time.
A: We have invested thousands of dollars in launching GamedayRecruits.com and every month we have costs that have to be paid to keep GR up and running. We manually verify each and every paid recruit and this takes a lot of man hours so charging for our premium services is a must.
A: We first you've made an excellent choice by using our services. We have hundreds of coaches who use GR as part of their recruiting strategy. A: Video, video and more video! A picture speaks and thousand words but video speaks a million! Have your coach, family or friends film you in everything you do. If you state that you run a 40 yard dash in 4.6 seconds....then prove it through video. If you can't kick a 50 yard field goal, prove it through video. We strongly suggest uploading as much video footage as possible to your recruiting page.
A: Keep it simple and straight to the point. Too many athletes now days want to "bling up" their video so to speak. Coaches and recruiters don't care about that. Their time is valuable and you want to make sure you get to the point in your video. Back up all of the stats you provide with video if you are able. Ask your coach, family members or players to help in filming.
Registering with GamedayRecruits.com DOES NOT violate NCAA regulations. We urge all athletes and parents to familiarize themselves with the NCAA regulations. There are regulations regarding contact between athletes and coaches but most of the burden falls on the college coaches.
